yupp .. so.. krispy kreme.. they are like the nicest doughnuts eva! you can double check with royston. so here are pictures of how they are made.

a sample of what i have for dinner daily =) curry chicken. bak kut teh.. you get the idea. its really sumptious =)
caving with ORGT (outdoor recreation GT) we get super muddy crawling around the caves! but damn fun =)
zebra and llama
and i look funny cause the zebra has teeth.. i was a lil worried.
Went to Pettit Creek Farm! There were Emus! and Zebras and Ostriches and billy goats!! and.. chicken and porcupines!! haha.. yea.. i was highly amused =) (just cause in singapore the closest you can get to a zebra is like 5 metres away)

And yup. thats a llama.
went to a cemetery on vday. cemeteries over here are really nice.. quiet and nice..
and .. my vday present=)

i'm finally here! and i've finally moved into the residence and met my room/housemate.


















This is the view from one of the balconies (there are 2, and 2 skylights as well).

It makes dragging all my luggage up 7 flights of narrow stairs all worth while. I think i'll be getting lots of exercise going in and out of the house.

This was taken last Thursday (12/02), me and Junyuan's first day in Hangzhou but Pika's second. We were treated by Hengfeng to a nice lunch at a local restaurant machiam like Crystal Jade, with Crystal Jade prices but in another currency (rmb of course).

SKI TRIP @ north carolina! (part 2b)

Hey Hey!! Here's PART IIa of my blog entry!!
So anyways, on the third week of school, there was a Martin Luther King Jr public holiday.. I used the long weekend to go skiing/snowboarding at North Carolina. It was a 5 hours drive up the NC. Stayed at Willow Creek Valley Golf Resort and skied and snowboarded at Appalachain Ski Mountain! Here are some pictures. =)
Yup.. so this is Appalachain Ski Mountain! I was ice skating with Jo..Some pictures with the locals.. just cause the 2 kids were so adorable.

This was taken outside our resort. The view was like sooo sooo nice. And.. this is how skiing looks like. Haha. and yes thats me.. More pictures of the ski resort.

Okay.. now i'm gonna move on the part 2b.. also about the ski trip to NC. It was snowing the next day.. and when we woke up.. everything was white!! damn pretty!!..

Cheryl says hi from Atlanta! (part 1)

hey hey! i know i left a month ago.. haha.. but there's just so much to do here!!..i guess i'll briefly update you guys on what i've been up to!
so. just in case some of you dont know.. i'm now on exchange in US, Georgia , Atlanta. Studying at Georgia Tech! That picture above.. is one of the residences. I'm living at Woodruff residences with three other american girls!
One thing I really like here is the evening sky.. (This isnt a really good picture.. but i'm too lazy to go through the album. ) Yea. anyways.. the evening sky here.. has like shades of pink, purple, blue, orange, red... its breathtaking!! i'll post the picture when i get a good one.










so anyways.. i just missed the whole football season.. and its basketball season now.

I recently went to the Philips Arena to watch a NBA match! Atlanta Hawks vs Phoenix Sun=)

Georgia Tech also has some home games against other colleges. And.. its really fun being in the audience seat! (basketball is not really my thing though).

So just like NUS, we also get around via shuttle service. Over here its called the Stinger shuttle. Haha.. cause our mascot is a yellow jacket =) So what have I been up to? Eating ice cream!!! Ice cream here is like cheap cheap cheap. i'm trying all the ben and jerry's flavor.. then after that haagen daaz. haha.

And that last picture.. is how my studio looks. pretty much the same. messy. just that, the studio here has high windows.. which allows alot of sunlight in.. a nice view too..

Yup.. so anyway.. this is just part 1 of my blog entry!! Stay tune for more!! cause i need to tell you guys about my ski trip at north carolina.. erm.. my coming caving trip.. Oh! and i signed up for argentine tango too!!
